Project Runway's judge and American top designer Michael Kors shares with Harper Bazar how he spends the day.
The man wears black, drinks white and is hooked on iced-tea. Seriously....
And of course it's no surprise that his outfit and accessories are thought well through or found as a hidden gem in one of those vintage shops in New York.

A rooftop terrace with a beautiful view on Amsterdam in the soaking sun, great ABSOLUT cocktails, delicious bites and very nice people. All the ingredients for beautiful images were there ;-)
The Hidden World couldn't ask for more... It was a farewell party with style and fun! We like to thank once again Flore Zoé and ABSOLUT for the creative collaboration.

She shared her own story, took us behind the scenes of her new series and inspired almost 100 photographers for the ABSOLUT Hidden Talent expo. What else can we say than a big THANK YOU!
She recently took the stage at the OPERA gallery in Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore, and we know for sure that more international art galleries will be in line.
So we'll see more... For now we'd like to look back with gratitude to the past amazing three months. Enjoy the visual ride....

Or better yet.... We have an ABSOLUT Hidden Talent! Yesterday we had a farewell party for Flore Zoé together with ABSOLUT. With sunny cocktails, a beautiful view on the city of Amsterdam and nice people we celebrated creativity.
Rene Dommisse was selected as the ABSOLUT Hidden Talent with his image 'STRUGGLING' and won the exclusive masterclass with Flore Zoé. He was a happy winner as you can see!

Life’s experiences can trigger artists to create. Good and bad experiences can inspire.

Flore admires other artists. When she was finding her way, the work of Richard Serra was very important to her. She still visits exhibitions of her work whenever she can.

The ABSOLUT Hidden Talent Exposition is open! You can see all the nominated images @ The House of Rising in Amsterdam until June 30.
The past few months all hidden talent have been inspired by Flore Zoé's story-telling images. These are the chosen ones that still have a chance to win an exclusive masterclass. What do you think??
“My all time favourite song is JJ Cale’s ‘Sensitive kind’. This song has been there since childhood. His voice and the melody are so comforting…. I still play it every day, it’s like coming home. Plus, artists are of a sensitive kind so I recognise a lot in this song. “

Actually, you don’t look at other photographer’s work for inspiration. You run the risk of copying them…. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t admire them...

The creative process of artistic minds is what we try to grasp. So no wonder, we just love the series ART meets FASHION by Flore Zoé.
Flore captured the steps a fashion designer goes through, from the moment of inspiration to the finale of the runway....

There’s no picture without light… that's something we learned from Flore Zoé. It sets the atmosphere for the story and is extremely important. And the sun is your most important sun.
But what if you’re shooting in a medieval torture chamber where little daylight comes in??

In THE ABSOLUT HIDDEN WORLD vertelt Flore Zoé over haar creatieve leven aan de hand van 4 fases: Finding Your Way, Struggling, Getting Recognized en Taking The Stage. En nu is het jouw beurt!

Last Friday was a memorable day for Flore Zoé... It's official! Her artworks are now being exhibited in the Opera Galleries, starting in Paris and then traveling to Singapore and Hong Kong...

Imagine this: you’re hanging your series Fluent Fight in a pop-up gallery in Antwerp. The owner of the building passes by and is so struck by your works of art that he immediately makes you an offer you can’t refuse….
Remember that we hosted an exclusive Friday Afternoon drink for Ilja Visser with Flore Zoé as special guest?? This creative get-together was for invitees only on a hidden location with an absolute view on Amsterdam.
But The Hidden World reveals...that's what we do. So we love to share this video where people in fashion and photography came together.
If you like to be part of our next event zoom in on our site and stay tuned with ABSOLUT NL. Maybe you'll be on the guest list and featuring in the next vid ;-)

We were invited to join Flore on a very special shoot. There was a strict dress code (black only!) and secrecy around the locations (diamonds do trigger people).

It’s been a struggle to constantly explain herself as an artist, to defend her work and to look for assignments. There have been rejections from editors and magazines, and a person may start to wonder if it’s all worth the fight….

After her trip to the Far East, Flore enrolled in a photographic academy. Her Teachers there could not fit her into a box, ‘label her’.

People like labels. It makes life easy for some. But if you don't fit into a particular box, label or category, it can be hard constantly having to explain yourself to others.
You feel left out and keep to yourself. Particularly as a story-telling photographer.
